Our 2021 Orange Shirt features a heart designed by Tsimshian artist Morgan Asoyuf with the words “Every Child Matters” inscribed in the heart.

Through JustOne purchasing from Native Northwest, they donate proceeds from orange shirt sales to the Native Northwest Reconciliation Fund, Orange Shirt Society, and the BC Aboriginal Child Care Association. The new Native Northwest Reconciliation Fund was created to support people and families who continue to be impacted by Residential Schools and intergenerational trauma. Its purpose is to advance Reconciliation by funding initiatives that support Indigenous wellness, learning, and culture.

In addition JustOne donated $5 from every shirt locally to Woodland Cultural Centre.

September 30th marks Orange Shirt Day, a day of remembrance and respect to honour the students and survivors of Canada's Residential School system.

On this day, Canadians are encouraged to wear an orange shirt to show their support for survivors and pay respects to those who did not make it.

Thank you for supporting Orange Shirt Day.
